There are two or more similar signs for GO DOWN THE STAIRS. The first one is made with one hand in the form of curved V. The hand moves down slowly diagonally towards the side giving the impression that the fingers are going down a step at a time.

In the second sign the hand moves downwards diagonally to the front instead of to the side.

The rate and way in which the hand moves down depends on what is to be communicated.
